REDESIGNING A PRO'S KITCHEN:
Mission: With a looming deadline for the Food & Wine photo shoot and limited meeting time before flying back to Venice, Italy the goal was to map out the new geography of the kitchen and ensure all Marcella's kitchen items in her Venice kitchen would fit the new space.
After two 10-hour power meetings we developed a more sensible as well as esthetically pleasing arrangement for the new layout and created a peninsula for the cook top placing Marcella where, anytime she looked up from her saute pan, she could see the beach and the Gulf.
